My dear friend from Pennsylvania asked me to make her a few cards that she needed for birthdays coming up.  These are what I came up with. 

I'm on a roll.  I had to make 2 new home cards and this is what I came up with.  The only thing that I'm not happy with is the "wallpaper" I chose.  I think I could have come up with something a little less mundane.  But overall I love the way it came out!

Under the Sea

I realize that I haven't posted in awhile.  Life happens.  But I plan to post more often now.  This was my card for my pen pals this month.  I loved creating it. 

 

These are the 3 other cards that I will be doing at my Oasis class tomorrow.  I am looking forward to meeting with my students.  I always find that everyone that attends are so much fun!

This week teaching at Braille I did this card with my students.  They needed a bit of help but they all loved it in the end.  I liked it so much that it is within the 4 cards that I am teaching at Oasis tomorrow.

It's that time of our lives when friends parents and spouses are passing away.  This was for a friend that had taken care of her husband for a very long time.  I hope she is doing well.

I taught a class last Tuesday at Mission Valley Oasis and had the best group of women at my class.  We all had a lot of fun!

Made a bunch of favors for my class tomorrow.  Can't wait until they all see them at their places.  Happy 4th of July everyone.

My friend Gail moved to Bettendorf, IA (our loss, Bettendorf's gain) and this is the card I made for her.



 

I'm feeling as if I'm at the time of your life when all of my friends parents are either gone or dying. At the new church we're going to the choir director lost her Mom and this is the card that I made for her.  I am really pleased with it.

My favorite neighbor had asked me to make a card with a helicopter for her Dad's birthday.  Seems they were giving him a ride over Las Vegas in a helicopter for his birthday.  This is what I came up with.  I had the hardest time figuring out how to make the basic helicopter.  Finally it hit me....I used one of my paisley dies for the body and a pinwheel die for the tail rotor.

So my very dear friend Lisa called and said she's having a grandson and could I do invitations for the baby shower.  The theme is Ahoy it's a Boy and this is what I've come up with. 

So I figured that I haven't written on my blog in awhile.  I have been quite negligent.  So first I wanted to show you the things from my Valentine's Day Favor Class at Oasis in February. 

So my sister Sue is always telling me that she loves my cards but I needed to make things that you can hang.  Since she opened it I can now put it on my blog.  This is my 12 x 12 - 12 Days of Christmas by Stampington & Co.  I loved doing this for her.  I know she'll enjoy it for years to come.

 

A friend of ours asked me to make her some cards for some of her dearest friends.  This is the assortment that I made for her from the descriptions she gave me.  I love doing that!!



My sister was telling me the other day that I hadn't put anything on my blog in awhile.  The other day was my caregivers meeting and it was my turn to do a project.  I picked these cute little favor boxes from Taylored Expressions.  Everyone loved it and walked away with 2 each.  I even made Chai Spice cookies to go into each of them.  Good time was had by all.

Today we are having a very hot day, so I was working in my sweatshop making these bridal favors for my friend.  I'm sure they will dry quickly and I'll be able to get them ready to ship. 

Last week when I was on Facebook there was a story about a young boy in Arizona who was turning 13 on the 28th of this month.  He has some form of cancer and his wish was that he got a lot of cards for his birthday.  I checked out the post on their local news and got the address.  He said he like funny and animals.  This is what I  came up with.
